Lone Star Bar - Restaurant Eating Booths and Bar Upgrade

Nigel Molloy Joinery manufactured and installed custom-made booths for the restaurant and cowhide panels in the bar for Lone Star Invercargill

The Cowhide panels were created by Howard Anderson Upholstery and framed up by our team here at Nigel Molloy Joinery, the results speak for themselves - they look great!

The finished booths and panels in the bar are just gorgeous and add to the overall ambience!

The Lone Star story

It was out with the pompous, nouvelle cuisine that was a fad in the 1980’s and in with the concept that dining out should be fun and value for money that led to the birth of the Lone Star.

The original menu was a combination of Kiwi classics, embellished with a few Lone Star originals. Dishes such as the Lassoo of Hog, Dixie Chicken, Johnny Cash Stash and the iconic Redneck Ribs remain on the menu to this day

The Invercargill Lone Star restaurant, is housed in a stylish, Art Deco building on the corner of Dee and Leet Streets. The Lone Star Invercargill also offers free Wifi
